Edibles are cannabis-infused food or drinks. At The Forest, we offer a variety of options including gummies, baked goods, chips, lemonade, and much more. Edibles typically take around 30- 60 minutes to kick in. However, onset time depends on a lot of factors. Start with a low dose and ease into added milligrams, you can always eat more but you can’t eat less!

Common Options:

• 1:1: CBD is the non-psychoactive component of cannabis whereas THC is the psychoactive component of cannabis. One-to-one edibles deliver a balanced high with equal amounts of CBD and THC. Edibles that have a higher CBD dosage deliver a less psychoactive effect and are great for reducing inflammation.

• CBN is the sister of CBD but delivers more of a psychoactive high than CBD but less than THC. CBN is typically used for consumers who want to focus on sleep and pain relief.

• CBG is a cannabinoid that is found in the cannabis plant in the early stages of a plant’s maturation cycle. CBG is typically used as a recovery agent to maintain the balance between mind and body.

• Full Spectrum edibles are curated to closely mimic the full profile of a plant’s cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavor.

Flower can be grown in greenhouses, outdoors, and in indoor rooms. Flower is planted, harvested, dried, cured, and trimmed before getting to the dispensary. If you enjoy bud and want to save time in your cannabis routine, pre-rolls are for you! The Forest offers a variety of different sizes, strains, and percentages of different cannabis flowers in different forms.

• Hybrid – Hybrid strains have a genetic makeup that is either sativa or indica dominant and are man-made plants that offer a psychoactive balance.

• Infused Flower is when additional cannabinoids, terpenes, or both are added to whole or ground-up cannabis flower. This is done by spraying, coating, or sprinkling oil or extract on to the flower and using here to combine the two.

Topicals are great for those looking to relieve centralized pain without a full high. The CB2 receptors in our body are activated by the cannabinoids delivering localized pain relief.

• Patches make it possible for patients to get a dose THC without the need for other outlets. This product offers all-day or all-night relief for those suffering from chronic issues like pain and anxiety.

• Oil/Palm/Lotion/Salve products allow patients to directly combat pain or skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. The consistency varies from thick to thin and it is recommended that you apply generously to get the full effect of these products.

Vapes are a convenient and discreet way to consume cannabis. A cannabis vape comes as a cartridge, pod, or disposable. Once connected to the appropriate battery the vape is ready for the consumer to inhale. Upon exhaling a cloud of vapor will fill the air. Vapes are filled with a variety of different oils like distillate, live resin, and more. The temperature you vaporize your oil will directly affect your experience and your vapor production. A higher temperature will create a less flavorful and more intense session and, while a lower temperature will provide a more flavorful and enjoyable session. Because of this, we encourage consumers to always use a battery that allows temperature reduction and control.
